I'm very big on Valdez but I can't help but see some things that will be detrimental to his advancement. There were times that he felt like a Lemieux of sorts. Im sure he'll improve but he definitely needs to work on some things. His power will only go so far

126 is such a good division. Now if only we can get some of these fighters to fight each other.

"More impressed" with the guy that was completely dominated?

I get that his chin was impressive....it too a beating....not sure how the fighter overall was more impressive though.

I'm not sure I've seen a fighter quite as close to a punching bag as Hiroshige, has no punch and barely throws a punch, all while taking a pretty decent shot. Hiroshige 'the heavybag' Osawa.

Valdez is already a world champion, there are some things about him that can be used against him by the other champions, he looked good, but with amateur mistakes, in the other hand, you don't see chins like that in boxing all the time.
