Why is canelo suddenly being made out to be some master boxer?

yeah, ive made it quite clear on my stance, i dont think its some amazing win, will be his best though on his CV. I wont be changing my tune and saying 'wow he beat an amazing canelo' although i would be pretty shocked if he knocked canelo out very early or its an absolute demolition job. I just dont want you and others changing your tune, which is what you would do i suspect...

lol i did laugh at that 'compubox says you are full of ****'. well ive watched the fight twice and to me it looked like he was getting outboxed by khan 'soundly outboxed' might have been an exaggeration but i thought he won most rounds clearly, the compubox scores are pretty close in a lot of rounds in that fight, but the clearer shots were landed by khan

Where are people getting this impression of canelo as some mega skillful guy from? He does some bizarre upper body movement when trying to dodge punches as if someones stuck a stick up his arse and his footwork is as plodding as it gets, looks like his boots are made out of lead. As recently as the khan fight he was getting soundly outboxed, and people have suddenly made out hes canelo v 2.0 after the mayweather fight, as if its transformed him and he was some novice. The guy was 44-0 ffs and had been a pro 8 years. Hardly looked too elusive against lara, seemed to use his big blockhead as target practise for lara. Canelo is what he is, a solid durable fighter with a bit of pop who puts together some good combos. SO why are you all making out hes going to be like roy jones at 160, and noones going to be able to land a glove on him? Sometimes when people are so desperate for something to happen (GGG losing) they start believe in things that arent true, i dont know whether youve all somehow convinced yourself that canelo is the man to beat him...

Same reason you make GGG out to be some unbeatable monster dispite him not even facing not 1 elite level fighter...same reason you claim he beats Kovalev and Ward yet cry when anyone asks him to prove it...

He is considered a good boxer because he is a good boxer. when you beat Lara and today's Cotto on points without the aid of a knockdown you are a good boxer. According to the computer statistics he is right at the top for punches landed vs punches received. Canelo has fast, accurate combinations and good head movement and defense and that makes him a good boxer. Don't worry. GGG is also an excellent boxer regardless of what haters on here may say.
