Reverse Psychology. Like Ruiz Parker. Take a regular fight and turn it into a title fight, so nobody can afford it. Nobody believes it and third raters have something to shoot for.

Didn't the WBA say last year they were going back to 1 champion per division? What happened to that?

If it were his fighters fighting for the title Warrren would praise the WBA. Everybody knows that Warren has for example the WBO in his pocket.

"Only they could conjure up such a ridiculous scenario, kowtowing to a former champion who by the time he fights Joshua won't have fought for 18 months after being comprehensively beaten by Tyson Fury"

It wouldn't have been 18 months though if Tyson hadn't kept postponing the fight?

Isn't this all a bit rich given a lot of Warren's fighters have lofty rankings with the WBO? Not saying that are bad fighters, in fact I really like the look of Liam Williams, but other than winning a regional (or equivalent) trinket in my own opinion i don't see them as high as that at this point in time.

            Tommy Langford at 2?
            Liam Williams at 5?
            Bradley Skeete at 6?
            Jack Catterall at 5?
            Jamie Conlan at 3?
