Asking for 40% when you aren't close to the draw your opponent is unreasonable. The fight's there for Golovkin if he wants it. He hasn't done enough to demand more than 10 mil.

This is true, canelo and GGG both need each other to atleast break 1 mil. Neither one of them is going to do that by themselves. Sooner or later golden boy will realize this and will be forced to make the fight happen in order to make big PPV money.

They signed the contract that's what they did and didn't try and act like they were some big star when the numbers don't show that. If GGG wants the fight he can sign the $10 million dollar offer, make life changing money and if he wins raise his stock for the remaining few years he has left in his prime. Its not that hard.

Plus love him or hate him he has taken risky fights and taken some losses but is known as an entertaining fighter, win or lose. And as others have pointed out, he did not make anywhere near 13 million, he had the potential if the fight had done 1 million plus buys, which no fighter is doing right now.
