GGG Perfect Fighter?

Golovkin isn't a perfect fighter but a nightmare for anyone to fight. In order to beat him, NSB crowed uses ATG middleweights like Roy, Hopkins and Tony, but in current times most fans see him only losing/underdog vs fighters who are two divisions above.
People claim GGG's defense suck but at the end of the day when GGG decides to play it safe it is difficult to land against him anything meaningful, just look at the Lemieux fight where GGG was still very offensive but relied more on the jab and Lemieux landed less than 25% of the punches.
GGG isn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination but that's also why it is so fun to watch him fight because you know he is coming to trade and will take a shot or two to make the fight exciting which to me is more entertaining then the fighter who was closest to perfect (Floyed) but at the same time played it safe for a good portion of his career.Comment

He is not perfect of course, nobody is. But he is a tough sum bih who wont be easy to beat by anyone in his weight class. Iron chinned, cinder block fisted, stamina, inteligence, high punch resistance, master ring cutter, etc.Comment

Ok I'll say my peace. His fight with Lemeiux (I don't know how to spell it) was the GGG I like to see, almost punch perfect. Controlled distance. He still doesn't have the head-movement quite, but he used his feet to avoid punches. The jab was on point, and ofcourse his ability to switch from defence to offence quickly, always being in position to throw.
Ofcourse he doesn't need to fight this cautious with guys he knows can't hurt him. There was no jab in the Brook fight, he demoted himself to some sort of face first brawler plodding in. We've already seen that before from him though. I think Brook surprised him with a couple of clean shots, although never in real trouble at any time, but enough mustard to make him think "Ahh, okey got me there, good shot" . . . This is probably though my least favourite style he has, which is why I'm in the pool of people who want to see him fight better opposition. I don't care too much if he goes undefeated or gets beat. I just want to see him box at his best and put on good shows, not drama shows.Comment

He done it cuse Lamule(spell it like that)is basic af,He just couldnt get jab going vs Brook.Brook was in control of distance,GGG was cornering him very good and that was his downfall(if brook would hug more in corners it would be interesting),he wont have any head movement ,his 34 and have non so he probably wont have in future(headmovment need to be natural)Agree i want to see him with better comp, also his is not demoting himself,he still done this little things with Brook:good footwork, changing angles, takeing angles from Brook,he just couldnt outbox Brook in Lamule style (but i dont think that anybody can),also what you can see in Brook fight is fact that GGG dont trade,he wait till you finish.Ok I'll say my peace. I haven't seen anyone successfully clinch GGG yet. GGG does trade, he likely won't trade with people who are much faster then him but he trades... did see the Gaele KO? and the macklin fight? As a fighter GGG uses his advantages better then others use theirs so far. Brook was faster, so GGG overpowered him, Lemiuex even though a more raw power puncher was slower so GGG out boxed him, Geale was a mover and GGG outmaneuvered him. Martin Murray tried to Clinch, that didn't work.He done it cuse Lamule(spell it like that)is basic af,He just couldnt get jab going vs Brook.Brook was in control of distance,GGG was cornering him very good and that was his downfall(if brook would hug more in corners it would be interesting),he wont have any head movement ,his 34 and have non so he probably wont have in future(headmovment need to be natural)Agree i want to see him with better comp, also his is not demoting himself,he still done this little things with Brook:good footwork, changing angles, takeing angles from Brook,he just couldnt outbox Brook in Lamule style (but i dont think that anybody can),also what you can see in Brook fight is fact that GGG dont trade,he wait till you finish.
At the end of the day i want to see if he is able to do the same vs. the best fighter in and around his division. The only way i see him losing right now is if someone outsizes him, as i don't see anyone out boxing him based on boxing ability alone.Comment

Brook clinched him couple of times but its just not Tactic that he is familiar with, its not so hard to Clinch someone if you realy try. What i mean is if you lay hands on him he is backing up and shell up,it this Murray fight he was in offense in KO moment, ofc we can watch fights and bring evry moment when he trade 1 punch or 2,genaraly if you put combo on him he backs up never almost never punch with you,and you are right its cuse of his slow hands,I agree that he uses his advantages very good.I haven't seen anyone successfully clinch GGG yet. True, Lemellielle is basic as ****, he had no game plan and very poor footwork, unless planted, but he still had the kind of power GGG respected enough to fight a more tactical fight. I don't know if I'd go as far as saying Brook controlled the distance, there wasn't much to control. GGG was coming forward, Brook was on his bike and struggling to stay on his bike with his added muscle. . . . He does have great footwork/balance though I agree and he had some plausible success at times. I just wanna see GGG fight someone who can give him those sort of troubles at a weight he's used to campaigning at.He done it cuse Lamule(spell it like that)is basic af,He just couldnt get jab going vs Brook.Brook was in control of distance,GGG was cornering him very good and that was his downfall(if brook would hug more in corners it would be interesting),he wont have any head movement ,his 34 and have non so he probably wont have in future(headmovment need to be natural)Agree i want to see him with better comp, also his is not demoting himself,he still done this little things with Brook:good footwork, changing angles, takeing angles from Brook,he just couldnt outbox Brook in Lamule style (but i dont think that anybody can),also what you can see in Brook fight is fact that GGG dont trade,he wait till you finish.Comment
