Haymon screwed up everything by overpaying his fighters for fighting nobodies.
Mayweather airs his fighters dirty laundry

That Ben Thompson guy is an embarrassment. He would literally give Floyd a ******* if he had the chance.
Floyd is too insecure to be a promoter. He will never want one of his fighter's to be as big of a star as he was. Plus, he enables these guys with the lifestyle/money ****, and then wonders why they can't stay grounded.Comment

it all sounds plausible. the stuff about tank davis is spot on from what i gather. dude wanted to stay in the hood and live astreet life while taking advances and spending a ****load of money. he's taltend, but not that talented.
still, what's sometimes as important as the message is how it is said and who is saying it. these fight hype guys have an agenda that is clear as day. slurp, slurp, slurp. floyd's probably got some legitimate grievances with these kids, but it's impossible to take a piece fanboyism suited for a pep rally seriously.Comment

haymon is techincally a manager, and that's exactly what a manager wants.
we agree that haymon is ruining boxing, i'm just saying that it doesn't mean that haymon is going hungry overpaying these guys. he still makes a percent, and has them tied to him for long term, and his "promotors" [proxies] for a single fight most of the time.Comment

The fighters actually got it easy now, it was a time when if you didn't win GOLD at the Olympics, becoming a Superstar was almost impossible. While no in this ERA, winning GOLD don't mean anything!
LMFAO at Mickey Bey filing a Lawsuit after all the chances he was given, what a ungrateful piece of ****. Honestly I don't know why Mayweather even wasting his time trying to invest into boxing, these young boxings don't have "IT" they all think it is easy because Mayweather made it look easy but when they step up most of them end up getting their ass whopped.
Mayweather need to build from the ground up look for young prospects to invest into, guys who are hungry and willing to work their way up and not these guys who just want the money that Mayweather and not paying attention to how LONG it took for Mayweather to get to that type of money.Comment

I may not be a fan of Floyd at all, but I am a life long fan of boxing. One of the Things that always saddens me, is to follow how former fighters throw away their hard earned Money into various abysses.
Of course Floyd has earned more than anybody else so it will take a while to throw his fortune away, but throw in a couple of divorces along with a failed promotional venture and you have a recipe for a new sad story.
lol the same floyd who was swindled for some 20 something mill?
the same floyd that lives in one of the most expensive states in america?
the same floyd that buys color coordinated supercars worth in the millions?
the same floyd that gambles like a drunken sailor that just won the lottery?
its almost a sure thing floyd will go broke.
first sign?
when he sells his mansion in vegas or moves to another state. maybe back to grand rapids...
just watch..Comment

I would not be shocked that Thompson gave Floyd a handy J for sure. That Ben Thompson guy is an embarrassment. He would literally give Floyd a ******* if he had the chance.
Floyd is too insecure to be a promoter. He will never want one of his fighter's to be as big of a star as he was. Plus, he enables these guys with the lifestyle/money ****, and then wonders why they can't stay grounded.
And i do question how hands on Floyd is with much of MP's roster. Although if this stuff is true maybe Floyd should get his fighters talking to some money guys or broke fighters to discuss how careful you need to be. Kinda like they do for NFL or NBA guys who are often tasting money for the first time in their lives.Comment
