Really depends on what happens between now and then but it would probably do just well enough for them to get career paydays. Either way GGG doesn't win.
How many ppv's would GGG vs the winner of Ward-Kovalev do?

When you KO 17 contenders in a row, own four different middleweight world titles and make 15 successful world title defenses all by KO wins you aren't a hype job. You are a damn good fighter and the real Mc Coy. I always bet on GGG to win and I always win my bet. He is my kind of hype job.Comment

Let's see how Kovalev vs Ward does - sadly despite the significance to the boxing world my sense is this one just ain't gonna be picked up massively by casuals. As of now Golovkin is probably a bigger draw than either, though I think either - especially Ward could switch that around if they win.
It basically amounts to a total guess but let's say 300k(ish) for Ward - Kovalev and maybe 400K for Winner vs GGG.Comment

You're not making much money though given the odds of his fights unless you're laying down huge bets.. but you're right he is no hype job, a bit overhyped by some and underrated by others. When you KO 17 contenders in a row, own four different middleweight world titles and make 15 successful world title defenses all by KO wins you aren't a hype job. 500-600k easily. Without a doubt gonna get a ton of hardcore buys, and the buzz from hardcore will trickle to their casual buddies. They'll tell people to order the fight, and it's equivalent to one of the ATG fights.Comment
