Good pick up by TR! I think the kid can become something in a few years. No doubt Top Rank is the best a developing fighters. I don't know whats going on behind the scene with Golden Boy pertaining to signing young fighters but hopefully their building back up there stable. Its no secret Haymon has a huge stable but I believe it will become a problem as for getting fights for all those fighters on a regular basis. There's just not enough money, T.V. dates & exposure. 2016 has not been a good year for Haymon boxing. To have that many fighters under your banner & producing less than five good fights in 2016 is mediocrity at best. Thurman/Porter, Cruz/Frampton are the only two in my opinion. Hearns in the UK is doing more interesting things than Haymon! Hopefully Haymon puts on more quality fights in 2017 but I wouldn't bet on it.

From Dan Rafael:
He won't have his first bout until at least May, when he turns 17 and can apply for a special permit in various states, including Nevada and California.Flores is trained and managed by his father, Gabriel Flores Sr., whose own involvement in gangs landed him in prison for a stretch. He turned his back on gang life years ago and also trains Top Rank junior lightweight prospect Andy Vences (16-0, 10 KOs). Flores' adviser is Rick Mirigian, who also handles blue-chip junior welterweight prospect and 2012 U.S. Olympian Jose Ramirez.
Flores has ring experience sparring with quality fighters, including featherweight world titleholder Oscar Valdez and junior featherweight contender Jessie Magdaleno, both of whom have matches on the Pacquiao-Vargas undercard.
