    One World Champion Solution

No more alphabet soup. The four organizations each take a hemisphere and that will be their territories. Those who hold titles there will defend in their respective hemispheres.

A World Boxing Commission holds tournaments for each division- four-man tourneys with the champions if there are four or what champions there and and top contenders, as decided upon by the commission.

From then on, there will be four champions of the hemispheres and no unification. One world champion per division, period and that champion will be required to make two defenses a year.

All of the organizations remain in place, but are recognized as regional titles as they should be. This would be a solution and hold the world title up in much higher regard. Any thoughts?

Interesting take. As someone who doesn't follow the alphabet situation because I've always felt it was an absolute joke, I like your idea. It makes too much sense to ever be feasible but it's ideally what should be taking place.

Well, hey now. They'd get a little action. You have all Australia and part of the African boxing circuit as well as South America.

Ha. Never mind. You make a great point.

Yeah, I don't have all of the intricacies figured out, nor will I waste the time on it, but I think it's ideal solution. The alphabets don't have to go under. Just change to regional with one world boxing commission deciding the official world champions. Would make it so less confusing to casuals or hell, to even hardcore fans.

One World champion solution? TBRB already doing that since 2012. The only downside is they are too strict in crowning champions unlike Ring magazine before allowing 1 vs 3.

Your idea would require everybody to cooperate with each other and they never do and they never will.
