Castano had a good am career and fought in the WSB so the 12 fights is deceptive.

He's been moved from #6 to #4 and now to #2 in the WBA 154 pounds rankings.

He beat Deveryanchenko and Errol Spence jr in the amateurs.

So yes, he's really good. B level at least. A level? not sure, we will find out in the following years. World champion material? no doubt.

I personally believe that his aggresive style can cause trouble to any A level 154 fighter. That's personal, but I think he's really really good.

Great news, Castano is one of my favourite prospects in the sport.

Hopefully the WBA orders him to fight Culcay or Soro next, then he can target the full WBA title after a couple more fights

I'd love to see Castano knock off Lara. Lara's been milking the idea he's the top JMW w/o backing it up for years now.
