I am now pro. But there are speed bags at my sons gym that i can do like ward. Never tried them with gloves on or with wrap just bare knuckle. I no damn well i could beat neither of them.

I havent heard anything about quan training kovalev for this fight.
Kovalev is also very light already at 178.
Ward will be the bigger man but I belive kovalev got this

I'm guessing the reason is to increase difficulty, force you to retract your hands quicker. It's definitely tough to hit the bag with thick gloves on.

With or without gloves...he should be doing way better than that.

Put gloves on Ward and he'd be 10xs better than what Kovalev is doing.

I'm pretty nasty on a speed bag and I'm sure Kov would destroy me. So yea...means nothing.
