He should also add the May vs Pac got done without GB promoting it, nor receiving any profits. That's what really gets Oscar. GB could have been profiting from promoting fights on a fight by fight basis like they were when Schaffer was there, yet they barely got 1 good fighter that fights twice a year. How exactly are they profiting of that when he isn't living up to the so called super star expectations when it comes to revenue.Comment

Bottom line, under Schaefer golden boy was thriving, since he left, they've gone in the toilet. Golden boy is now the equivalent of what don King promotions were in the early 2000' s. Don at that point only had 1 star left in Trinidad and he tried to milk it for all it was worth. Golden boy now has Canelo and they're doing the same thing. Only thing was Don King had confidence in putting Trinidad in against dangerous opponents. Golden boy doesn't have that confidence in Canelo.Comment

Eric Gomez shouldn't comment. Schaefer has a ways to go before he gets to Golden Boy Promotions status.
Golden Boy is still a power house with the biggest attraction in the sport. They need to continue developing their young talent to go with their established talent they already have.Comment

This is pointless promoter pettiness. Why don't these guys start beef by indicating that they have the better fighters. Say something like, I bet 'Charlo can whoop Canelo (just an example; I don't necessarily believe it)' and then make the fight happen to prove that talk. Promoters are just being childish, bickering about nothing and not willing to make fights happen between each other. Promoters should challenge each other based on their fighters. Naww, there will be a bunch of comments talking about political BS instead of making legit fights between companies. I think with Schaefer utilizing a fight-by-fight situation, he can attract better fights. Hopefully, we get that...Comment
