Lorenz Larkin who is one of my favorites mma fighters right now, had a decent amateur record.
Most succesful switch from boxing to MMA?

Holly Holm, obviously. She destroyed Ronda Rousey and became the first person to win a championship in both boxing and MMA.Comment

Has to be Holly Holm. Regardless of her losses since, she made it to the top of the mountain in both sports.Comment

Lmao. Peak? She lost months later and again months after that.^this right here, good thing Holly was at her peak in that fight, she is now older and washed up past her prime but at least she was at her peak old dogs always have one more fight left and that was hers.
Holly is the only legit boxing champion to win a UFC belt, she is already secured.
Imagine if she went into MMA when she was younger? She is 36 now and beat Ronda at 34 years old after wars in boxing.
Ronda wants to quit and has no passion after losing.
She won simply because Rondas style is tailor made for her. She beat Ronda last November. How did she become past it literally months later? She was beating Meisha but Holm doesn't commit to her strikes enough and struggles in the takedown department, where Meisha is queen. She looked bad like 2 years ago vs Raquel Pennington too, some people think she got gifted that decision. So no, it's not about her prime or peak, it's simply due to styles.Comment

I think Algieri with his kickboxing background would transition well. And Cintron with his wrestling background would be successful.Comment
