If JCC Jr. beats Britsch, will Ramirez be game to take on the name? Assuming it's an Andy Lee vs Jr. bout again and is able to smuther Ramirez on the ropes, we've got the new WBO Champ JCC Jr., will Loeffler and team desperately want JCC Jr. Q4 2017? Gennady's possible 2 Division Champ with opportunities to unify other 168 straps?
JCC jr. is after Ramirez's strap? 2017? Golovkin vs JCC jr. Q4 '17?

All IFs, I honestly don't think JCC Jr can beat Ramirez or any of the top 168 pounders, not even on his best day, never! He can make these fights interesting because of his chin and the way he fights, but these guys are physically too strong and technically too sound to be bullied like Andy Lee.
The question is: Will JCC Jr. even make weight for these fights? Is he ever going to manage to have 1 complete training camp? these are the questions we need to ask before we start assuming hypothetical fights. Plus if somehow JCC Jr. manages to get a belt at 168 and GGG already fought or can't get the fight against Canelo, GGG would be a fool for not moving up to fight JCC Jr. That'd be a huge fight for him. With that being said, it doesn't change the fact that GGG DUCKED Andre Ward. -

Ramirez would dominate Chavez like 118-110 type score if not stop him late. His skills are way too much for julitoIf JCC Jr. beats Britsch, will Ramirez be game to take on the name? Chavez Jr. doesn't hesitate with shell guards and then attack like Abraham. Chavez Jr. is a more forward type with a different style. Abraham is 6 years older than Ramirez. I don'T see it being a walk in the park for Ramirez. Ramirez' work rate, and again, the fact that Chavez Jr. went 9 rounds whether respecting Fonfara's power or not, I think Chavez Jr. is going to give Ramirez some work. Good scrap imo. 50/50 IF he does a very convincing performance against BritschComment

Martinez doesn't hit harder than Fonfara either and he battered Jr. for 11 rounds straight, the 168 lbs champions are all very well schooled younger fighters with great fundamentals and more natural strength than Martinez who was a 154 pounder at some point in time and Lee. No way Chavez can bully them like he did against Andy Lee. I think JCC Jr. gets decisioned by Ramirez and probably stopped late by Jack and Degale.
I don't even think JCC Jr. can make 168 at the moment since he will probably never be able to have a complete training camp ever for the rest of his career and will either miss weight or fight 160 pounders at 172 catchweight or something like that. I don't see JCC Jr. being any kind of threat for the remainder of his career which will probably consist of money grabs and beatdowns for him. Unfortunate cuz he's a good fighter but he lacks mental strength and I think he already gave up on boxing.Comment

But do you actually think Chavez Jr Stands a chance against Ramirez?? Ramirez has a higher KO ration then Fonfara and is a more complete fighter, Ramirez was fighting safe but he wobbled Abraham a lot and could have stopped him if he wanted, no way Chavez Jr can last 8 rounds with Ramirez, I'm not even sure Chavez Jr can beat Abraham who was shut out against RamirezComment

I said if beats Britsch in convincing fashion, let's say by KO, why not assume it'd be a good fight. Besides, JCC jr. vs Ramirez is a good money fight for the Mexican fansBut do you actually think Chavez Jr Stands a chance against Ramirez?? Chavez Jr. is probably as fat as Gabriel Iglecias by now.

I hate to say it but Jr. is little more than a name because of his father. He's proven that he's average when fighting guys his own size or guys who are too fast for him to catch. I don't think he could even make 168 and I can't see him doing well against the top fighters at 175. On top of that, I don't think he wants to fight anymore.
Golovkin vs. Chavez Jr. would be a fun fight for sure but I can't see it getting made at this point.Comment
