Which do you think is the greatest trilogy of the three. Both have ATG fights in them. I think for pure consistency Barerra/Morales takes the win. I didn't like the second Ali/Frazier fight and Bowe/Holyfield 3 was good but fell short of the other two great fights.

I agree. The other two had their moments and the thrilla will always be a highlight in the sport, but Barrera-Morales produced three very entertaining fights between two highly skilled warriors that really brought out the best and worst in one another. It's number one.Comment

For consistency, it's Barrera/Morales. For drama and impact on the sport, it's Ali/Frazier.
Edit: The greatest fight of the 9 up for votes, was Ali v Frazier 1. It truly met the idea of "Fight of the Century".Comment

I have a clear bias here being that Barrera/Morales was the only one I caught live. But that being said, I consider Barrera/Morales 1 to be my all time favorite fight.Comment

I have it Ali vs Fraiser. I only say this because of the significance of it. People may not rate the second fight as much. But in terms of significance the winner got another (Fraizer) or just a shot (Ali) at Foreman for the Title.
And after giving him his first loss Ali was the underdog for the first time in his career. Both had everything to prove.
And I know that i am not alone in saying that Thriller in Manila ruined both guys physically. I don't think that the other trilogies mentioned had that factor.Comment

Ali vs Fraiser easily. The last fight was so grueling, Frasier worked his ass off in preparation and Ali wasn't exactly 100% focused leading up to the fight. I dont think many fighters would have been able to live with that version of Fraiser, especially given how poor Ali's training camp was... but that's a testament to how great Ali was, he pushed himself to the utmost limit and beat Fraiser. The GOAT had more heart than any fighter before or after him. Neither was the same after that unfortunately.Comment
