Right. Let's forget he was stabbed in the leg, was forced a mandatory, then took a quick turn around fight when no one else was available, injured again and then forced to take a mandatory again before facing GGG.

Spence's punch selection is definitely not better than Brook's. He's very basic in that department, footwork definitely worse and his defense is leaky against guys as basic as Algieri and Bundu.

    Power is debatable.

True. He's had 1 good win in his career and the 3 fights after have been a joke, one of which he was on the losing end of. Spence clearly has greater power and I'm certain he'd have Brook running all night. Don't get me wrong, I think Spence is overrated and has potential defense issues, and I don't necessarily think he'd win, but he'd be a handful for Brook.

I was rooting for Kell against Porter and really expected him to do something great with his career but he's been a terrible let-down ever since that win. Even that win was disappointing as it was pretty ugly.

        Algieri will give Brooks fits!!!

Still trying to figure out what exactly Brooks has really accomplished.

I called the Brook/Golovkin fight a mismatch/money grab back since it was first proposed in May/June.

This thread is about Brook wrapping up his WW run with some big fights before leaving for 154.

As much as I like Brook fighting Vargas/Thurman/Garcia I'd want him to fight his mandatory first in Spence..
For a guy known to fight mandatories & called Mr.Mandatory he sure isn't bringing up his mandatory due, is he?

Excellent point. He named 5 welters (FIVE!) , but I've got a nagging feeling that he won't be able to make 147 anymore if forced to fight Spence. And, again, I'm not even one of these who says Spence beats him.

Brook will learn the way that hugging his way passed Porter that he isn't yet ready for Errol Spence.

If this fights get made I will bet you all my points that Spence horsewhips Brook.

There is nothing but pain at 154 for Brook. He'd be surrounded by ass-whippings.

I'm undecided on this one. Kell could potentially jab, clinch, and get on the back foot enough to trouble Spence. But, if Errol improves his offensive footwork enough he might be able to finish Brook. I don't like that Spence plants his feet so heavy when he throws hard. Especially problematic against a guy who can move like Brook. But, he's getting better and I think he's got a definite power advantage here.
