Comments Thread For: Foreman: If Joshua Beats Klitschko, He'll Be Champion For 10 Years

In the last few weeks, Hall of Famer George Foreman has really been talking up IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (17-0, 17KOs). Foreman, a two-time world champion and an Olympic gold medal winner like Joshua, faced some of the greatest heavyweights who ever laced up a pair of gloves and he sees a lot of potential in the British superstar.

Very bold prediction by Foreman. He is REALLY high on Joshua, who is reality has not beaten anybody of note. His best wins are Charles Martin and Breazeale.

It's like people are forgetting Fury already beat Klitschko.

      Klitschko is not the champ.

Charles Martin looked scared and certainly didn't look like he belonged in the ring with a top 25 fighter never mind Joshua when they fought. I think Joshua is the real deal, he's an exciting fighter who could rescue the heavyweight division. Charles Martin on the other hand had his 15 seconds of fame and is lucky he came along now and not 30 years ago where he wouldn't even be considered a decent club fighter.

Who doesn't love Big George Foreman but let's face it, he is terrible at picking fights and fighters. I'll never forget his classic commentary of both Toney/Barkley and Hopkins/Trinidad where practically until the respective stoppages he had Iran and Tito only one punch away from winning their fights, LOL.

I think that is foolish to say with guys like Wilder, Parker and Fury in the mix. Personally I think Wilder would clean his clock. Can't wait for that fight!

It's because Fury is on the shelf and may never be taken off. I think there's unfinished business with Klitschko with the rematch clause and being caught doping.

Charles Martin doesn't even have any notable wins either, just a gift against a decent fighter who injured himself. Breazeale 's best win is against a 40+ year old prison convict who was whooping his ass before he retired on his stool. I like Joshua, but he still has alot to prove. I don't understand all of the hype surrounding him. His only other notable win is Dillian Whyte, but after seeing Whyte struggle against so many mediocre fighters, i don't think he was ever that good to begin with.
