Who wrote this AW's sister? WTF is James Prince the manager talking about ? David vs Goliath?? Is his manager on crack? The Roc Nation rep. calls it pound for pound, 2 superpowers, and this goof manager states " it is very simple, we are David he [Kovalev ] is Goliath. It seems like AW aspires to have the narrative of his life be about everyone feeling sorry for him.

        way to cry about nothing

at least Ward did not run around for FOUR YEARS saying that he can "beat everyone from 154-168"..... but then kill 2 HUGE fights over the weight

Ignorant. I've never seen personal info about Andre disclosed like it has before this fight. He's a notoriously private person and has never gone out looking for sympathy. If anything, he stays quiet when it would be easy to speak up and discredit his detractors.
HBO is trying to sell a PPV. If you're so salty that it bothers you to see him portrayed in this light, don't click.

The first requirement of P4P rating should be that a fighter is active. Besides being active, it should be about the quality of opponents. Otherwise it's strictly a popularity contest.
My problem with Ward is he's living on past performances rather than what he's done in the past 4 years. Ward says he's about action but that just not so. he hasn't fought a top 10 guy since Rodiquez and you're being charitable calling that guy a top 10 guy.
So the fact is he hasn't been active til recently and his opposition has been pretty mediocre. So I say he has gotten a free ride on the P4P ranking.

He's been just as active as Kovalev over the past 12 months and will be more active than Golovkin by the end of the year. Kovalev's opposition has been equally poor, and need I even bring up Dominic Wade and Kell Brook?

If we're criticizing P4P rankings, we can at least say that Ward has 3 fights in the last year, has won nearly every round, and has a wealth of past experience. Don't get me wrong, I'm dissapointed by his layoff and recent comp, but it's not like Canelo, ggg, Kovalev, Pac, Rigo, etc are blowing his doors off in terms of recent activity and accomplishments.

well that sure explains why Golovkin is ranked

at least Ward has " past performances "

Ward earned his " free ride ", Golovkin was handed his

according to many observers on this site, Ward was ****-scared of Kovalev and would never enter the ring with him..... funnily enough, most of those same observers swear that Golovkin will fight everyone, despite the fact that he won't fight anyone

Golovkin is ranked solely on the " eye test "

                  Ward > Golovkin
