Comments Thread For: Sergey Kovalev Taking His Pay-Per-View Debut Very Seriously

Sergey Kovalev - "Sure HBO pay-per-view is very important to me; this is big deal. This is my first pay-per-view fight. I think all fighters goal is to be pay-per-view fighter, but it takes hard work and not everybody can do this. For this fight I did more interviews than before because we want to get more fans, but this is part of my job. I am still learning English, I try to learn more all the time."

Kovalev is a realist, hopefully his efforts pay off.

good stuff, glad to hear hes not overlooking ward which would be an error. This might not an easy fight despite what people are saying, wards tricky awkward and has found ways to win. Despite not having proven anything at light heavyweight and being relatively inactive over 5 years ward may surprise people if kovalevs not 100 percent .

so what if Ward is 80% but still beats Kovalev.
