ariza didn't built manny up to be a hard hitting guy.
these were the fighters that manny stopped while with ariza but according to the flo, hatton was damage from Floyd, Oscar was weight drained, cotto was drained and didn't have a good trainer. LOLOLOLOL!!!!Comment

I could explain this dilemma rather easily, he stopped juicing and by juicing I mean the ol' roid trick he got em every timeComment

I don't think it matters at all since all of Manny's fights are exciting anyways. He almost always hurts his opponents and has them in trouble or knocks them down. It's understandable to me to be a little apprehensive after getting knocked out cold like he was against JMM in their last fight. Being a little more cautious is only smart. Floyd only has one legit KO in the last ten years and everyone accepts that. It's boxing so........Comment

The power myth has already been disproven. It has been put to bed the notion that Pacquiao's punching power carried unhindered through the weights. There is a clear progression of 'power' which peaks at 122lbs! As he climbs above that, his kayo % drops (with insufficient samples at 135/140 to show this) and his stoppages trend towards later in fights after accumulation and almost no KO's at his highest weight. Even the guys he dropped were either natural 140 pounders or had moved up in weight themselves. And Cotto who Pac stopped was badly hurt by Torres and Corley. He's small and he's old.
It's really that simple.
We're all so used to Pac at welterweight that everyone forgot how insane it sounded when he first moved up the scale that far.
Everyone also forgets that Pac was already HoF status just based off of his resume at super-featherweight, years before he ever made the move up.Comment

Manny is talking BS with the I can make 135 -140 , he had ample opportunity to fight at 140 against a host of JWWs and forced them all to 147 .
Manny has played the little guy for so long its worn out this was from Freddie Roach in 2008 , he might be a short ass but that doesnt effect his weight .

The size difference is what everyone is talking about. Manny is mature. He’s a much bigger person than he used to be. He’s not that skinny, 112-pound kid anymore. He weighs 152 pounds right now [a few weeks before the fight]. His body fat is six percent. He’s coming down to 147, not going up. He’s coming down, just like Oscar is. The biggest thing is, when someone goes up a weight class and fights and then comes back down to his original weight class, he usually has bad results. You see it in history. It happened to Roy Jones [who went from light heavyweight to heavyweight and back down]. Oscar will suffer to make 147; and I think he’ll be weaker as a result. I don’t think the bigger guy will be the stronger guy on Dec. 6. He’ll be taller, maybe a little heavier, but not stronger. Manny will be the bigger puncher, the faster puncher, the busier guy. Activity is my biggest thing. And Manny is better prepared for that. We fought four times this year. Oscar hasn’t fought four times in four years. I think speed and activity wins this fight, not size.Comment
