What's the sense in Oscar holding his current stance, when Canelo only had a $3.5m guarantee in his last fight against Smith which bombed on PPV?

GG's just made $5m for Brook, so I think he could make that again for a BJS fight in the U.K. with a good promotion. So he should be able to make more than $6m for both BJS and Jacobs.

I think it's safe to assume that this would do quite a bit more. Personally, I think somewhere in the region of $80m. I think that's realistic. So tell me how on earth $10m is fair?

1) Criticizing De la Hoya for having worn women's clothing while being drunk and partying... WTH does that have to do with anything? Business wise he is sharp as a razor. And he was just as sharp as a boxer. And he is a great person as well. Are you anybody at all, compared to him and his achievements?

2) Calling Mexican people idiots and a "herd of sheep" because SOME Mexicans are Canelo fans. Mentioning the word "Mexican" three times. Somebody is a little biased and full of hate here, right? FYI most Mexicans aren't even into boxing, they are into soccer, almost 90% when it comes to sports, and the other 10% would be a mixture of several other sports, boxing included. And the ones who care about boxing, many of them do root for Canelo because he is the real deal whether you like it or not, HE IS A GOOD BOXER for real, unlike clowns like Chavez Jr., who doesn't have and never had a huge Mexican-fan following, precisely because he IS NOT a good boxer like Canelo is. So Mexican boxing fans generally know and CHOOSE whom to root for.

3) Calling Canelo De la Hoya's "Mexican sidekick". Sorry you dummy, but De La Hoya is American. He was born in California. He may be American-Mexican in his blood and probably has dual citizenship, but the guy always fought for the U.S. and got his Gold Olympic medal as an American, for the U.S. of course, in 1992. That's why he is called "the Golden Boy" FYI. Bottom line he is not a "Mexican" like Canelo is, you ignorant. AMOF most Mexican boxing fans dislike (or even hate) ODLH because he defeated JCC senior twice, when the latter was completely out of his prime, with drug addiction issues, and made a fool of himself in front of De la Hoya, to the point of quitting on the stool in their 2nd fight and never admitting that. To most Mexicans, De la Hoya isn't even a Mexican at all.

4) Calling Canelo a "pansy" because he chose to drop the middleweight belt (most likely because his promoter ordered him to do so, for business reasons, not because Canelo is afraid of GGG which I'm 100% sure he is not, and I am not even a fan of Canelo per se).

You call him a pansy in the safety of your anonymity, but I am pretty sure you wouldn't dare call him that in real life. You call Mexicans idiots and a herd of sheep while you are safe behind your keyboard, but you wouldn't dare call them that to their faces, I am pretty sure.

I usually don't go personal with my comments, but totally ignorant and ******ly biased comments such as yours deserve to be answered to accordingly. And BTW I am myself a female, I am a white Caucasian person who has the highest respect for ANY PERSON who actually has the guts to get into a ring to make a living off of it. Canelo have more to lose than GGG ,Golovkin has nothing to lose just like Ginger back Then so why he dont take a risk ,just asking?it did 60 with bigger star Then GGG in Cotto and its not like All this Money is going to fighters ,It wasnt flat fee they said they gave %.anyway negotiations will heat up in May.

Canelo wouldn't have more to lose.
