In fairness to those rooting against Manny or any other favorite to lose I think its fairly normal to root for & hope the dog comes thru as the dog so seldom does come thru in boxing. Don't necessarily gotta have a ****ty life to like to see a upset. Upsets are hopeful for most people who've never been #1 in anything in life. And certainly its more likely most people can better relate to the non-exceptional caliber guys instead of the Manny's, Floyd's & other legends of the boxing world.

Having said that I suspect with the highly emotional responses a guy like Manny gets the people who actively root against him are probably more likely to be as you say or just your run of the mill trolls.
