There's definitely a significant level of hypocrisy going on there. Unfortunately, that's par for the course in boxing right now.

Pretty safe to say we're not too different - just wanting to see good fights, between good fighters, without all the bull**** that comes with it.

Boxing is exhausting and frustrating. I can see why people are jumping ship and heating for sandy shores - MMA.

Ward would go to 160 for Mayweather but why not GGG at 164?

the only legit offered made in the middle between these guys.

          facts are facts.

the only legit offer between the 2 was at 164.

ward wanting to make 0 concessions and to drag GGG up to 168 is like GGG wanting Ward to make 160. both unfair at that time.

both said they'd fight someone else for more money at each other's weights. so that's a wash.

the only legit offer between those 2 was at 164. real legit and fair.

          Ward ducked like a mangina.

Yea... ducked the smaller fighter only to fight a bigger guy in Kovalev. Makes total sense.

Ward has proven himself against the elite of the world.

GGG is no more of an elite fighter than Kessler or Froch. And ward didn't duck them. Do you think GGG could beat a prime Kessler or Froch?

On another forum I stay in contact with the manager of a fighter that Abel Sanchez recently started training and he said that GGG and Andy Ruiz were doing some sort of wrestling and that GGG manhandled him with no problem. He said it was a "no contest".

GGG is stronger than I thought and I have no doubt that he would have no problems with anyone from 154-175 as far as size/strength goes.

No he's legit. I don't bull**** like other guys on the internet. If I didn't think this guy was reliable I wouldn't have put merit in it for a second.

If that's the case then why not accept Alvarez at 155? 155 is technically Middleweight, the limit is 160. As Abel and Gennady have said, if they can make 154-168 without problems and that no boxer can take on ggg, then why didn't Abel and Gennady jump on the 155 drama when Alvarez still.had the WBC strap? It's the A side bluff. The WBC has sanctioned title bouts not at the full limit.

Truth is Gennady and Abel have never been able to do anything remotely close to 154. People need to realize that "anybody can get it from 154-168" has more to do with those boxers going to 160, not Gennady moving uo or down. Then again, you have Gennady saying he'd fight Pac vs Floyd winner in a coherent response, stating "absolutely." Then Abel saying Alvarez doesn't deserve...yet telling Ward 164. It's as obnoxious as saying, ala Abel, "Ward doesn't deserve a 168 bout with Golovkin."
