Errol Spence should be way more active!

I think the Brook- IBF situation is really ridiculous, I think Spence shouldn't wait too long on Kell Brook or the IBF . Instead, he should try to make himself the mandatory or the interim champion for other belts, he could fight the WBA number 1 contender David Avensyan or the WBC number 1 contentder Andre Berto sometime early next year and then fight the winner of Thurman vs Garcia for the 2 belts.

That's one of the things I really hate about boxing nowadays, fighters waiting and taking very long layoffs and therefore getting rusty and forgotten about by the casuals, Spence vs Bundu was watched by 6 million people which is a record and instead of Spence riding the wave and being more active in or even outside the ring to stay relevant, they go back again into obscurity and wait too long and nobody hears anything from them for months and sometimes years at a time. That's NOT how you build a star and none of the promoters nowadays seems to understands the importance of that. Why is it taking Spence almost 5 years to get a title shot and why only 21 fights in 5 years?

Yeah Spence/Berto would be a good fight, and both of them draw good ratings

At this stage of his career he should be fighting every 6 weeks to learn his craft. They wouldn't have to be world beaters either. Good prospects behave like world champions these days when they haven't won anything.

There is no reason for a prospect to be fighting at the frequency that Spence fights.

Fighting for an I term belt is ****** when his very next fight is for an actual title

No he has it perfect at the moment, these guys go through a lot of injuries that can shorten their careers due to sparring, training and fighting. They need to space out their schedule and let their bodies recover from camps, especially when they are fighting good competition.
