I think it's the aftermath of the Mayweather retirement. Ofcourse it would take a toll on boxing to have him leave undefeated and unblemished.

GGG is too old to be a star, his carreer is over almost before it has really begun.

Canelo is still very young, could've hoped for a Pacquaio fight. The Cotto fight was good though.

Fury went mental and suddenly we actually don't have a king of heavyweight, only speculations.

Thurman - Porter was a highlight.

And where'd Broner go? He was entertaining and now he's under a rock?

Honestly who cares about Pacquiao anymore, he doesn't want hard fights anymore, fair enough, but it makes him dull to follow.

What else, we have a guy like Danny Garcia who's really not that interesting either, we all know what happens if he meets a good fighter.

Amir Khan got balls, but his stardom must have taken a downgrade and perhaps many more things too.

Kell Brook got stopped too early by his corner, in a good fight, I thought it was such a shame, as this fight was a big highlight for me.

We need a new Carl Froch, someone that can really surprise hardcore boxing. A new-age cinderella man.

I look to Ward - Kovalev to redeem boxing and for one of them to secure that P4P crown, so we can all go on to hate / cheer for the winner. Gonna be a great fight, but probably not as explosive as people think - But definitely edge of seat.
