Comments Thread For: Pacquiao vs. Crawford is Likely To Take Place at 140, Says Arum
WBC/WBO junior welterweight champion Terence Crawford (29-0, 20KOs) has no intention of moving up to welterweight in the near future, according to Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum.
Not that I really care what weight they fight at if this fight happens, but I still don't understand why Crawford wants to stay at 140. He could definitely move up and have nore meaningful fights at 147....
Its very obvious that Arum wants to cash Manny out, and use him as a stepping stone to launch TC. Hope Manny doesn't go for this. He's the A-side. He should tell TC 147 or no fight.

Crawford is still young. A unification against Burns will be a big fight. He's moved up several times & he'll move up again. What's the rush? It's not like he's 34 years old fighting in the same division he's been fighting in since he turned pro and his resume is trash
they should make it at 147, crawford is a big dude, plus he would have the chance to become a 3rd division world champion if being victorious and a clear top p4p fighter
