Comments Thread For: Manny Pacquiao's Return is For The Love of The Game

It was in the back of his mind heading into his rubber match with Timothy Bradley Jr. this past April, pushing to the forefront following his throwback performance in dominating his longtime ring rival and capturing the vacant World (lineal) welterweight championship...

Manny has a 4th grade education, and everyone leeches off of him,,, wife, brother, mom, friends, manager, promoter, etc...

You knew manny was dumb as hell when he resigned with arum... "Don't follow the blueprint laid out by Oscar, floyd n cotto, and leave arum once you're a star,,, let's resign for multiple years/fights instead of being a free agent with all the leverage"

That's b.s. Pacquiao initially stated he was coming back for the money and was brutally honest about it. He said his salary as a congressman was not enough to support all the people around him. Not only does Pacquiao take care of himself, his five children, his wife and his family but he also takes care of his wife's entire family and a long list of friends.

You add it all up and combine that wit his tax problems and you've got a powder keg for financial troubles. Manny Pacquiao is a warrior but let's not kid ourselves, he's fighting for the money and he has been doing that for several years now.

He already said he was coming back because his job as a Senator doesn't provide for his lifestyle the way his boxing career did. Not that it should matter, but still.

They should all be financially smart since boxing is their source of income, but most of them are passionate about boxing as a sport, I assume. Freddie Roach has said though that Pacquiao has never been much of a boxing fan outside of his own endeavours in the sport, however.

PAC has a big and generous heart. If PAC has it, he shares it.
I wish his loved ones, friends and family, would cut him a break and leave him some of his hard earned money.

That's what I can't understand??? Also Mayweather criticized him for it multiple times. Said I don't mind giving fighters money fighting me but NOT their GREEDY Promoters. Pac basically is giving Arum half (If not MORE) of everything he makes just because he's loyal.

Wrong. He already said he's coming back because of money, it came out of his mouth.
