Should a boring fighter make it into the hall of fame?

No, a boring runner who just runs out the clock and doesn't even try to stop his opponents shouldn't go into the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
However, if there was a "Curers of Insomnia" Hall of Fame the videos of his fights would definitely qualify him for admission.

The flaw in your logic is that "boring" is an opinion.
And I don't think it's a coincidence that fighters you call boring are high level tacticians.
You watch GGG because you find him "exciting" or you think he will beat a fighter you dislike. I watch GGG because I consider him a complete fighter and I love to watch him work, and I study him. I watch GGG for the same reasons I watched Floyd. It takes knowledge of the sport to understand that concept.
The HOF is for great fighters to be recognized. Whether you find them boring or not is moot.

So now it's not about being the best and fighting the best to get into the hall it's about excitment and hype. this so ******ed
Let's use this logic in other sports, if that's the case Zac Lavine, Josh Hamilton, Mike Vick & Patrick Stefan are all 1st ballot HOF ( Do people realize how f.ucking dumb that logic is )

Watch wright v hopkins and tell me thats a celebration of the sport... People will say, 'oh its the fighters job to get the win, thats all that matters' well no, the whole point of a spectator sport is for the spectacle to be entertaining, otherwise noone would watch it and noone gets paid. So what do people think? Should fighters who replace the need for general anaesthetic be deserving of a spot in the hall of fame? Or if not reason enough to completely omit someone, should entertainment value at least be a factor when deciding if they should be allowed in?
