Cotto is fighting better than ever under Roach and fought very well in losing to Canelo. At this point in time Canelo would absolutely slaughter Margarito. Margarito is done as a top contender. He is struggling to beat average fighters. He has done nothing in years to suggest he belongs in the same ring with Cotto. I like Margarito and don't want to see him take another bad beating in a mismatch against Cotto. A win over Margarito would do nothing for Cotto's career and he would never reward Margarito with a big payday.
