Delahoya vs. Vargas...that was one helluva night!

Leading up to the Oscar/Mayo matchup I got a chance to review the Vargas/Goldie matchup a couple of times and I think I may have forgotten just how good, just how special that prize fight was!

It had everything, unbelievable hype coupled with unbelivable action and on top of that the fight had shifted on numerous occassions...it was just one helluva fight.

Both men took turns winning rounds for the first half of the fight...Vargas clearly was the bigger stronger guy and Oscar looked like a fish out of water against the ropes.

Round 6, 7 and 8 is where it appeared Oscar began to take control and it looked somewhat bleak for Fernando but watching him completely dominate the 9th was pretty remarkable and he actually was winning the 10th when he was rocked in the final seconds of the round.

This night was a boxing fans dream, it was one of those nights where your standing up before the bell screaming with a bunch of your buddies...I live for nights like this and it was fun last week to do a bit of reliving!

Anybody else have a memory from this bout or another where the hype made your **** hard and the actual fight made you cum?
(understand what I am saying ****heads)

Watching Corrales Castillo was ******ic. In between the hard to score even rounds The tide shifted so many times when they would hurt each other at the end of the rounds. Then the finale... It was awesome...

I love this fight the build up was great and then Vargas brought it and forced Oscar to show his heart and that he's a true champion. The only damper on this fight is the steroids (vargas) but since Oscar won it didn't have to much of a negative affect on the fight.

Your right the build up was great...it was even better then that because if you were a true blue fight fan you realized that this was for more real then your ordniary fight hype...these two hated each other and that was as authentic as it gets!

The fight literally was building for a decade!
