Santa Cruz said while he was worried, he was fueled for that fight.

Also, at the time of the fight it didnt seemed like he was distracted, he just started slow.
He would've won the match, but let it slip away.

Santa cruz only knows one way to fight. Frampton is the more skillful of the two and is able to change tactics if he wants. It was a really good, close fight that I am looking forward to seeing again but I think frampton wins again.

That should have given him more determination that ever to win that fight. He got exposed as nobody expected Frampton to even go the distance let alone beat him.

Exciting fight wrong strategy he wont learn from the loss

I could understand how his dad's health affected his performance, but I hate to that for a reason for a loss. It just comes off as a built-in excuse. If he wins the rematch, we will probably get a third fight unless it is so convincing that no one wants to see it..

Good close fight. With a few adjustments he can pull the win because he does have the ability to to other things in the ring.

Come on now these guys gotta stop having built in excuses already for if they lose, you knew in camp your father was sick and getting treatment etc, 9/10 it showed in camp if was bothering you so cancel fight until he healthy but don't go through with fight lose and now it was a factor

Excuses like this are going to add the pressure to winning a rematch. I had Frampton winning a close but clear UD. Of the 2 I think frampton could make the better adjustments. Itd be wise for Frampton to exchange less this next time, save energy, and counter with power.

Nope. But whatever gets you through the next training camp, so be it.
