    >>> Yo Bob, why not make Pacquiao Crawford???

Seems like the next logical fight. Who wants to see Pacquiao against a super featherweight?

Bud is the fight I think that's inevitable. After Bud's next fight and Manny winning next week I think next year the build up begins. Manny is still a big enough name where a young top fighter like Bud beating him soundly would catapult him higher than any previous fights.

        this is a dumb question.

        its called future economic viability.

if pac fights crawford, there's a good chance he loses. i fact, i pick crawford to beat pacquiao...

so, whatyou get is what is happening with Canelo and Oscar.

If oscar pits canelo with GGG he's gonna lose = loss of future economic viability.

hence you dont see GGG vsCanelo but Canelo vs showcase fight opponent with the possibility and come on for the fans a possible GGG fight.

        this is common sense.

top rank want future economic viability hence crawford and pacquiao will be fighting other guys with the carrot on the stick for the fans a possible crawford pacquiao fight.

        this is common sense.

Loma vs manny makes less sense. Pacs on his way out. Losing would be the best thing for arum. Beating loma benefits no one

HBO wanted Crawford vs Pacquiao. Bob said no, "Terence my boy is not ready yet."

Crawford on the other hand started dictating his terms like he would only fight Pac at 140 as if he's some superstar from some universe. No one knows whatever the hell he's going to demand. Same guy who ran all night against Postol.

Risk vs. Reward. It makes more economic sense for Pacquiao to fight Vargas before Crawford. Both fights would generate similar ppv buys. On paper, Vargas is the easier foe. Manny would be a huge underdog vs. Crawford.

Unless Pac is shot, i don't see Bud being an issue for him. I think people are tired of Pac as a boxer......not for nothing....he's old.

Bob actually wants that fight. It's Freddie and Koncz who are unsure.

I think Freddie wanted Vargas first to see if PAC can handle training whie performing his senator duties. Roach knows Crawford's a tougher challenge so he wanted a test run first.
