Marcos "El Chino" Maidana vs current welters

What if the Maidana that fought Floyd stayed instead of retiring and kept the hunger for battle and mayhem?

Does he clear out welter and become #1?

Or does one of the other top contenders or champions take out what I believe is the best version of Maidana!

Let's take a look at what the welters would have to face!

    Attributes:

    KO power both hands

    Throws high volume punches

    Strong jab

    Overhand right chops

    Good body puncher

    Iron chin

    Awkward style

    Cuts ring off well

    Deceptive counter punching ability

    Doesn't bruise easily

All heart and never say die attitude

Use of dirty tactics and roughhousing

I think not, I have yet to hear anyone talk about Maidana like he's a legend!

Most I heard was that he beat Floyd in the 1st fight and should've been put in the p4p list!

I think he gets underappreciated a lot! The man almost was always in exciting fights or wars and became one of the most improved fighters I've seen!

You don't go from being cleared by Devon Alexander then working on your craft and upsetting Broner and giving Mayweather a rare tough tough fight in years without consideration!

i think that Maidana from Garcia, could compite now on even terms with many WWs,there is no Iron Chined guys now,so i think he could mix it up,Both Thurman and Garcia like to fight so Maidana can catch them with big shots.

i think hed beat the vast majority, huge chino fan, but style wise im not sure he'd do great against a thurman or an errol spence. He can walk through guys like broner and those with no power but its going to be pretty hard to swarm one of them two. I think he'd put a beating on swift, and give crawford a hard nights work.

Maidana cleans out the division, been saying this for a while.

The only two I gave a chance at beating Maidana post the second Floyd fight were Bradley and Brook. I still believe that those two stand the best chance.

              Only people
who DKSAB call him overrated or a mindless brawler.
