So when will the actually fights for 2017 PBC shows be announced?(PBC as in on the time buys, not the fights that had a liscence fee). If the showtime fights were PBC, they would be on fox, NBC, ESPN etc. they should see out to win ggg v Jacobs purse bid and put that on fox, but they wouldn't, it would be on showtime.

yeah, how dare fans be happy for another year full of free boxing on multiple channels hahahahah!!!!

Fans should just be happy with fight of the century like canelo vs smith for $60 or manny vs vargas for $60 or canelo vs glass chin khan ofr $60........

Fans should only be happy for hbo ppv mismatches.... Why are fans so ******ed? How could they be so happy about free boxing???? Jeez!

I'm still so happy about the upcoming fights announced recently. Great fights. Hopefully they put some of the marquee matches on free TV.
No fights have been announced yet (though it's obvious that there are a lot of fighters who do need to get out there, like Andre Berto or Austin Trout or Adonis Stevenson and others, and Showtime has their schedule booked out through February [fairly certain that Garcia-Thurman ends up moved to CBS]), but it's being made known that a boxing fan can look forward to (without having HBO or Showtime) 50 nights of fights during 2017 on regular TV, with at least 6 showdowns on free-to-air terrestrial TV.

Deontay Wilder, Errol Spence Jr, and Erislandy Lara are still needing dates, the developing prospects are going to be kept as busy as their camps and health will allow, the aging vets are likely to want to see if they have a final run in them, and this year is likely the time for a lot of folks to make that final step-up, similar to what Errol Spence Jr did this year (Gerald Washington, Michael Hunter, Andrew Tabiti, "Hot Rod"/Marcus Browne, Sergey Lipinets, J'Leon Love/Ronald Gavril, David Benevidez, Ievgen Khytrov/Derevyenchenko, Terrell Gausha, Erickson Lubin, Mario Barrios, etc).

There's still a lot that's unknown, but things should get real interesting as the schedule fills in.

wcs, the 6 terrestrial TV cards will likely be must-see fights.

2 awesome fights for the whole year! wow, so 1 good fight for every 6 months.
You are on crack if you are blind to criticism about pbc.
A really bad second half of the year. Look at the past schedule on the PBC homepage.

Watch video highlights and full fight replays from all historic PBC fights, including sensational boxing by the likes of Errol Spence Jr., Deontay Wilder and more.

Now name me more than a handful intriguing matchups?
Couple this with the inactivity of most of the more popular fighter and the inability to match the 154 pounder against each other, even though pbc has the whole division and you have a pretty **** year for pbc.

But the new schedule: 2 unification fights: Thurman Vs Garcia, Degale Vs Jack, Top guys against each other: Charlo Vs Williams, Zlatinacin Vs Garcia, Frampton Vs Santa Cruz II and very fun matchups in Broner Vs Granados and Cuellar Vs Mares are a really BIG step in the right direction.

So chill out and dont be so offended if someome criticize pbc lol
Easter-Commey and Spence-Bundu were both really good fights going in, and both delivered; you add that the FS1 shows were smartly used to deliver really good style matchups between rising prospects believed to be at about the same level, in largely 50/50-60/40 fights, and you've got a pretty decent year (not sure where you're marking the midpoint from).

Yr 1 was basically March-December, Yr 2 has basically been January-September (though adding the Garcia tuneup if you want), and Yr 3 is basically set up to be Januay-December.

Let's keep it real, people are uncomfortable with a black powerful man eluding the media and being a mover and shaker in boxing, or any industry for that matter, it is what it is, I want free fights, from stars and prospects, I don't mind coming home from a long day at work on a Tuesday night and watching a toe to toe card, I like seeing cats like Erickson Lubin come up on tv and not random YouTube links, if u hate this, watch something else

PBC will sponsor more quality fights in the first quarter of 2017 than HBO, Golden Boy and Top Rank will sponsor in all of 2017.

Also, unlike Golden Boy and Top Rank, none of these fights will be on PPV. Fans had to pay $60 to see garbage fights such as Alvarez vs Smith and Alvarez vs Khan. Yet, we will pay nothing to see Garcia vs Thurman and other quality fights.

                  All hail PBC!!!!!!

How dare haymon give us even more great free fights on primetime television!!!
Haymon is killing boxing with all this free boxing and $6 showtime boxing when he could be ripping off us fans with ppv mismatches like ggg vs lemieux and canelo vs angulo, MANNY VS VARGAS, CANELO VS KHAN........ Shame on haymon for thinking about the fans........
It was a horrible year over all. But for the talent that PBC has compare to Other promoters they suck these past two years. I admit that the upcoming fights are good, he should have done this last year, why the wait? It also puts pressure on HBO to make better fights or get rid of boxing.

ummmm no one has given us better fights the last two years for free other than pbc....... The most pbc charges is $6 for some fights on showtime.....

Hbo has ripped off boxing fans with at least 4 mismatch ppv's with an average price of $60!!!

Until haymon rips us fans off for that much money you people need to stop complaining and be thankful for all the free boxing we get because of haymons deal making and business genius!
