How many years has Briggs been chasing a pay day? How many top 20,30,40 fighters has he fought in that time?

Briggs is a bum that is crying about Haye doing what he's been trying to do.

Haye did not need to use your name to get attention. You're not a name in boxing like Haye is. He's also not scared to fight you either. If the fight did happen, he'd blow you out in 2 rounds max.

It's also not the biggest money fight for Haye, you bring absolutely nothing to the table. Your career over the last 10 years proves this. So stop being delusional and move on to fighting unheard of scrubs like you like to take on.

Why is anyone surprised? It's David Haye, after all, the man has made a career out of lying and duping fans.

As for Briggs, **** him. He's been running his mouth for how long (2-3 years) now? And instead of actually getting into the ring to prove himself, he just makes instagram vids and trolls Klitschko and Haye.

He needs to stop the talking and just fight a decent fighter. But Briggs is just looking for a cash out fight with Haye where he loses. If he loses to a decent fighter, the pay cheque won't be as big. And he knows this.

It's getting pretty boring from him if i'm honest.

Maybe Briggs should try earning a title shot by beating someone decent. But he won't do it. He just wants to cash out with Haye or Wlad.

Haye was the decent dude he was trying to fight in order to get a title shot.

Haye is more than decent. Plus, Haye's got a bigger offer than a shot Briggs.

There's loads of decent fights for Briggs out there, but he won't take them. It's a cash for him pure and simple.

I do agree really. I am not up to speed with what fighters earn and I sort of think it is none of my business but Joshua reportedly earned £3 million for the Whyte fight and I would be very surprised if Whyte earned more than sixth of that. I don't think there is pot of gold here for Briggs (relatively speaking I am sure he has had big payday so for example against Lewis) or anything but decent paydays are probably available for his pension fund but not Haye or Joshua.

I am inclined to believe Haye actually regarding the PPV angle - the money probably isn't there. Haye would definitely knock over Briggs if he got Joshua money for fighting Briggs. Absolute no-brainier.

Briggs would be good in with Whyte, Chisors, Price, or even Hughie Fury.

Not particularly a Briggs fan (even though he was SUPER nice to me when I met him on a rooftop club in Hollywood about 6 or 7 years ago...like ridiculously nice), but he's exactly right. Haye used him on the card for more viewing then backed out of his promise. This is the "man" we've all known and seen David Haye become. He's not a man of his word, thus making him not much a man at all.

I would agree with you...if David Haye hadn't been fighting even weaker opponents than Briggs...Haye hasn't done a damn thing since his comeback to warrant any title shot either. Double standard much?
