Why does Lara want more than 1 M if his Biggest Payday against CANELO is 1 million? Yet the NSB "Fans" Here supported that notion, calling it a "duck" of GGG if he can't pay that.

If we go by the logic that Canelo is the bigger draw, and GGG is the smaller draw, why in the hell should K2 give more than what Canelo paid for? The GGG team was willing to pay 1m but hell Lara keeps on whining about "Pay me what I'm worth" Or with Decubas mouthing "Can he fight on showtime?"

I know everybody wants this fight to happen, and the fight would be GGG going to chase a chicken in the ring till he catches him in the corner and knocks him out.

Money is an Issue. And I want to see them fight, Hell If I could see either Canelo vs GGG or Lara vs GGG I want to see Lara vs GGG. But money is indeed an Issue, GGG can only generate 70% of what Canelo can, they would lose money if they give Lara 2 million. IT is already generous on their part to give Lara 1 mil+ The chance of four belts and being the man on the division. Certain things has to be taken into account.

Believe it or not, Lara actually got 1M for fighting Delvin Rodriguez (and going the distance) on a PBC card that nobody saw.

He will never be realistic about any purse again after that.

He brings absolutely nothing to the table financially against any opponent. In fact, there could be an argument that a Lara fight actually brings down ratings from an average show on showtime or hbo.

He has had some very nice pay days in career, thanks to Al Haymon.

Lara is a bigger star than anyone Golovkin has ever fought (Lemieux in Montreal and Matchroom/Brook in the UK withstanding), while also being the best fighter Golovkin would've faced, and should be compensated accordingly.

Lara got $1m to fight Alvarez, $1m to fight Rodriguez, $1m to fight Zaveck, and at least $700k to headline the 154 tripleheader against Vanes.

K2 has fight budgets that approach $3m, so there's no standing for them to lowball their best opponent yet.
