    Not to mention fights that many of us will check out;
    Shabransky v Barrera
    Hopkins v Smith

    Plus, we have some big names back in action, even if they're just tune-ups;
    Beterbiev
    Ortiz
    Saunders
    Garcia

    That's all packed into 2 months and I can't even remember them all.
    You might not care but every boxing fan is excited.
    Hopkins v SMith is a big fight now?

    the guys I highlighted, are they fighting anyone of note?

    Pac v Vargas is pretty one sided but it's not bad.

    Williams? Julian Williams right? You think he is in a big fight? Why is that?

    Like I said, I already mentioned the cruisers. Even then, it might be one sided.

    Loma v Walters has potential to be very good.

    So there's Kov/Ward, Loma/Walters and the cruisers. 3 fights. Ok, I'm very excited about how stacked the year is.

      I already mentioned 3 or 4 of those fights. 3 or 4 fights, 2 of which may have long standing impact, isn't much, considering the rest of the year has been **** and I'm being generous.

      now you can mention all those other fights all you like but they don't mean much for their own division(s) let alone boxing. Eddie Gomez? Ellis? That's a domestic level fight between 2 guys who haven't shown much anyway.

      Tell me honestly, which of those fights outside Kov/Ward, Loma/Walters and possibly Leb/Gas means anything for their division or boxing as a whole?

      And please dont say "oh yeah but Parker v Ruiz is for the heavyweight title". It's not.

      there is certainly a better end to the year than a start but the end should have featured Thurman/Garcia, Wald/AJ/Fury, GGG/Canelo, Quigg/Rigo/Donaire/someone of not at 122, Crawford/at147/or against someone better at 140 i.e. Prov, DeGale/Jack, Andrade/Charlos/Lara, Khan/Brook, Porter/good name at 147, Selby having another fight, Spence stepping up (no beating a 40 year old doesnt count), Haye/someone of note, Povetkin/Wilder ... hey look, I just made a list of fights that were supposed to happen or were talked about for the last 18 months which is longer than the fights that are actually happening.

      Man, like I said, so called fans like you are the problem. Not only are you getting excited over promoters, managers and networks feeding you scraps, you're willing to pay for most of them too.

      Up to you though.

        lol, you're so predictable. I clearly categorized those and even listed them as being tune-ups and fights that many would be interested but you just can't stand to be corrected so you pretend there was no context.
        You said something goofy and got called on it. Just let it go. It makes you look small when you don't.

        That's the Ortiz card, right? Yea, I got Ortiz on my list. I might have missed others on that card though. There's just a ton of good stuff coming up. Sucks, because I booked like 4 weekend events with the wife coming up. Going to have to upgrade my data plan on my phone.

          "So called fans"??!! Child, I have been a fan for over 25 years and obviously before you were getting your damn diapers changed, cupcake! So you can take your bleeding a$$ heart somewhere else!! And I don't care if it is domestic level or world level, I care about solid matchups at ANY level! And many domestic level fighters have gone on to becomes champs! And I don't give a SHT if Parker vs Ruiz is for a title or not, it is two guys willing to risk their records! I named a bunch of matchups that thousands of dedicated fans will be watching and enjoying so go ahead and ask any of us if we give a flying *** if you don't happen like the fights. Solution: don't watch. I'm sure there must be some Gilmore Girls or Brady Bunch reruns that you are dying to catch up on instead.

            What does this do for Crawford's career other than put him in an incredibly tough fight against someone in Haymon's stable. He should be going after that IBF belt ASAP.
