Why do people think this represents boxing's vitality? If Mark Coleman came out of retirement to fight a barely known bellator fighter, there wouldn't be anyone at the first presser either.

Boxings vitality was destroyed last May when people got suckered out of $100 by two old men in a snooze fest of a "mega fight"

There's no growing of an audience of younger people when the other combat sport is putting on great fights and delivering the goods while boxing sputters along with 2-3 good fights a year between top guys...

Personallh, I'm not into watching UFC but I sure wish boxing could somehow adapt that model and be under one banner so we could actually get the fights we want on a regular basis and not be overwhelmingly happy just because we get a fight that should happen anyway..

I was watching this presser stream and the press area is practically empty only a few press there and most of them are those youtube bloggers who make money of adcents, and are not real journalists.

Its sad man, This B hops last fight he even said so at the presser, it made me cringe when Oscar De La Hoya said this historical press conference yet there was only a few media there to cover it.

Not a good look for boxing and HBO, Boxing is a grandpa sport UFC is taking over, almost every Presser for a UFC event is jampacked.

The only guy I ever knew who like UFC was a dumbass skinhead...and he used to **** his drawers on the daily...

I have literally never met a woman who like UFC or any fight sport in general. Not saying they aren't out there just saying they are rare. I don't know anyone else who like boxing either other than big names like Pac or Mayweather.

UFC is boring as hell. They circle each other for 4 minutes then 1 guy lands a sloppy overhand right and the other guy is out or they spend 90% of the round on the ground. Nobody wants to spend an hour watching two guys roll around.
