All based on perception. If ggg went to war with some of those fighters and they had trilogies both would be considered great. Just makes them look like bums so casuals like you can say he fought no one.

It says a lot about his greatness and sheer domination, it what it says.

The fact that people cling on him losing 2 rds to one of the best ww's in the world at the time shows how dominant he is. He finished him off in 5 rds. The best ww vs the best mw would always be a competitive fight going past 5 rds. History has showed this. Not in ggg's case.
Brook may have been bloated, but he was still a welterweight. Joseito Lopez weighed more than Canelo on fight night. History has shown that when a fighter has a chance to grow into the Middleweight division from welterweight that the fight can be competitive such as Leonard/Hagler and to a lesser degree Hopkins/Trinidad. This more closely resembled Napoles challenging the great Monzon, but with much lesser fighters and without same day weighins.

If you really think his resume is nothing but cans than you just don't know much about boxing my friend. His resume isn't super impressive name wise, and he hasn't beaten "the best" p4p, but he's demolished everyone he has faced and he's faced champions and contenders. Fact.

He has faced champions and contenders that wouldn't sniff a belt if they competed in other divisions,so they are cans. If you have to resort to the ydksab defense then you have already loss.

What champ that GGG has beaten wouldn't sniff a belt in another division, and which division? Please tell me.

welp hes beaten 4 belt holders (current or former)

ouama = never sniffed a title again
geale = drained himself for a shot vs cotto and got KOd
lemeiux = cant even make the weight anymore, back to fighting prospect type level guys
brook = probably have to give up his title at ww or drain himself to get back, even then he has to face spence (which he will most likely lose to)
