    Canelo vs GGG attributes - Canelo >

    When you look at them from a overall attributes perspective.


    Jab - Canelo

    Power - Even

    Speed - Canelo

    Footwork - Canelo (slight edge)

    Stamina - Canelo (Been the distance many times)

    Cutting off the ring - Golovkin

    Body shots - Canelo

    Ring IQ - Canelo

    Timing - Canelo

    Defense - Canelo

    Resume - Canelo


    This isn't everything. Feel free to add. Anyone disagree?

      I slightly favor Canelo with footwork. He can box and move if he wants. As far as power, I think it's even. Canelo would knock out the majority of the guys GGG has knocked out.

          You make it sound like Canelo is better all the way around. Yet, for some reason, Canelo vacated rather than face Golovkin, keeps putting a potential fight date further back, and likes to use the excuse of never having fought at "the full 160". So, please, go convince Canelo that he is better all the way around so we can the fight on

            I understand. That's the real qeustion. How will Canelo cary 160. For my money, I think he'll be just as dominant.

              I think Golovkin takes the footwork category. The only thing notable that Canelo does in that regard is this super slow Ali shuffle. Canelo boxes by applying pressure and using head movement. Golovkin definitely has the power edge,but I would give Canelo almost everything else.
