Yea this is embarrassing as a kiwi. Parker and Arum look pretty chummy lately i hope Bob steals him away from Duco after he likely wins the belt. Lonergan and co have done a good job considering Parker in a few years he's ranked highly across all sanctioning bodies but that's nothing most promotional teams can't achieve with a dedicated Parker. In terms of putting on quality boxing cards it's a laugh. I will be disgusted if 'Brown Buttabean' fighting in the event.just my New Zealand opinion.....
this is embarrassing
Lonergan/Duco, are strictly second-rate..... and that is typical small-minded kiwi thinking
trying to leverage off tourism for a government grant LMAO
that refusal will not make the slightest difference to the event, no matter how long/loud Lonergan cries to the media..... it will only affect his bottom-line, and the government knows itComment

Bro I'm American its all the same to me. All the "istans" are Russian states or Russia or Eastern Europe depending on the day of the week too. And its probably like the difference between Alabama & Tennessee to non-Americans anyway.
That said whats the purpose of getting New Zealand welfare to promote a fight?Comment

It's shameful to ask hard working taxpayers to foot the bill for you.
If DUCO and New Zealand can't get their act together then just let Arum hold it at the Stub Hub Center in California.
The Mexican fan base will come out for Andy Ruiz.Comment

Like I said a day or two ago... here in the States the govt subsidizes NFL football... and it's already a huge cash cow that doesn't even need subsidizing. Kind of like Big Oil. Personally I think it's a good idea. Parker could possibly turn into a long reigning champ. Then the NZ govt would look 9 shades of DA for passing it up.Comment
