Because the date was less than a week away & before the WBA ruled on it he told them he was still in negotiations with Haymon. So they kept it at the original date since they were still negotiating. Just like they gave him an extension because he said they're still negotiating. But funny thing is after he told them they were still negotiating he then said Haymon wasn't answering his calls. This guy has no idea what he's doing. No wonder he can't get a big fight made.
