Regardless, Jacobs wants to fight Golovkin sometime in 2017. He didn’t divulge the specific figure that’ll make the Golovkin fight more appealing to him, but stressed that it’ll need to be markedly more than he has been offered thus far.

I'm guessing by his statement he probably wants around 3 million but they're offering about 2 and that's not enough.... He's never getting more than that, he's just not worth it. Gotta bring something to the table to make huge money.

Idk what is being offered behind the scenes & who knows what to believe or not to believe with rumors & things that reach the media, but my feeling is that Jacobs wants more than this fight is reasonably worth & more than its worth to make the fight happen for all sides, which is why I just don't see it happening. Hope I'm incorrect, but don't expect to be.

If he gets 3 million I'd be VERY surprised.... GGG had never even made 3 until the Brook fight and he was selling out places.... Jacobs is not worth it.. If he had that last title then maybe....

No, you're absolutely correct.. These guys want Floyd or Manny type opponent money when GGG fights probably do 1/10th the revenue of those 2 guys.. It's ridiculous
