Correct. And Golovkin is an offensive fighter who has good defense. Everything from the boxing experts to the statistics show that his opponent hit % is very low.

People who don't like him keep perpetuating this myth that he's a skill less brawler who gets hits a lot. That's not supported by facts. Look through his last 5, 10, 15 fights and look at opponent connect %. He'll never be Ward or Floyd, but that's not his style. His opponent's connect % is somewhere in the low to mid 20s, which is extremely low for a pressure fighter.


Shrug, I'm not gonna argue with you. In your mind everyone Floyd fought is a top5 P4P fighter and everyone Golovkin fought is a tomato can in the weakest ever MW division.

I like and respect Floyd a lot. The point was that even he, who's 10 times the defensive fighter Golovkin is, got hit in a fight or two. That doesn't mean I'm gonna go post GIFs of him getting hit or use 1 fight as a way of saying he's a bad defensive fighter. That's the point. Look at his other fights. His opponent connect % is pretty damn low.

Dude, that's perfectly fine and I'm the same as you. I want him to fight the best, including Ward and Kovalev at 175.

What I'm NOT cool with is when people spread misinformation saying he's easy to hit and has no defense. That statement is simply not true. Just because he hasn't fought elite comp doesn't mean his defense sucks.

I don't like when people spread lies because of their agendas. I've defended Ward, whom I generally don't like, Fury, whom I absolute despise, and Golovkin, whom I like.
