I wonder about the guy. When I look at old Golovkin footage, I don't see a different fighter. Not like when a guy trains with Freddy for a while. I feel that Golovkin's talent was already there and that, if anything, Sanchez might be holding him back a little (though that's hard to say because we haven't seen Golovkin pushed).
Really wish Genady trained with Roach.

Abel Sanchez wobbles between the 'crazy low budget promoter' and an insightful trainer. Some of the things he said are very intelligent and spot on. Then as soon as he feels he needs to promote/defend Golovkin, he goes full ******.

I'm not sure what to think of him as a trainer. He's definitely refined Golovkin's offensive game. The way he runs his gym/training makes his fighters come out in tip top physical condition. There are some unanswered questions though.
