        I remember he was basically the next Pacquiao then Rigo and Walters happened. Since those fights he has slightly fallen from grace.

          We forget too quickly. Donaire had an entire body of work which made him a genuine top p4p fighter for a period of time but a couple of losses and no one gives a damn.

          Donaire v Mares at 122 would be a great fight.

          I just hope he gets through Mag who hits pretty hard.

            Very good match up, been waiting for that one. I figure he should have been more popular no one wants to fight Rigo and he did. I really dont get why people soured on him.

              Donaire didn't fit into the typical description of what a nsb fave should be. Plus he wasnt a premadonna. STill isn't. Guy is the first boxer to do 24/7 testing, won belts across 3 or 4 divisions and many of them against the top guys.

              Donaire was/is a terrific fighter.
