GGG speaks in English because he's trying to build fans and plus it's hilarious. I've shown nonboxing fans clips of his interviews and they find them hilarious.

Also I remember a while back someone posted a transcript of something of a interview he did in his native langue and it totally exposed the whole good boy thing. Guy came across as a douche, at least IMO.

How come Kovalev has responded both in English and Russian, recently!

Who has better English, Kovalev or Golovkin?
What percentage of viewers of a Marquez fight would speak Spanish? Without even bothering to give a number - the answer would be a hell of a lot more than Kazakh speaking viewers of GGG.

      Same for Russian.

This thread is a waste of time. All it shows is that GGG is the focal point of both supporters and haters. But everyone knew that already. Can't get enough of that KO King!

Exactly. Look homie, I speak a few languages, but I revert to Spanish & English when I need to be understood.

Japanese is a beautiful language, nuanced, poetic....

But, there is so much lost in translation.

I could post a long, written in Japanese post, that hints at something, but, I don't like half way bullcrap!

I've told my co workers one on one is, go **** yourself.

            Lost in translation.

It's an ancient tactic he learned from the Chinese.

Have you never heard of "The art of War" by Sun Tzu?

“All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when we are able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must appear inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near.”

“Appear weak when you are strong, and strong when you are weak.”
