So to redeem him self he must come and see his daddy GGG and better bring that % split contract, other wise he can keep beating up old azz litle guys and forever be a COWARD B1TCH who gave up the belt and ducked GGG.
Canelo could fight literal cab drivers on PPV and he would still make more $$$ than GGG fighting other top MW chumps like Jacobs or Saunders. You can ***** all you want, but he doesnt need GGG at all, the guy has millions of fans and fangirls who will pay to see him against any random bum of his choice.

Its GGG who needs Canelo for a big payday, not the other way around.

Would be hilarious if Golovkin showed up at Canela's fight presser and scream, "I thought you a real Mexican? MEXICANS don't **** around! I take your belt , I take your balls, I take your countrymen, and then I'll take your b!+ch."
He wouldn't even have to do that if he just signed the contract that Canelo sent him. Save himself some time.

So what would be the point of him having another fight with someone he already he believes he beat comfortably and additionally someone who is well past their best? Money aside that fight does nothing for Canelo. If he wants to be considered the best fighter currently then he needs to take the step up and fight GGG or at the very least fight Andrade or one of the other top LMW's.

I still believe Cotto won the first fight but Cotto is now well passed his best, I dont think that fight will be nearly as close a second time round.
I see your points. I just think Canelo learned a lot of things in that fight. He did some moves that were really slick, and he wants more of that. Cotto kept trying, worked his rear off, deserves credit. But of course now he knows it's about money for Canelo and him. I get the idea Canelo wants to increase his boxing ability, and he thinks vs Cotto is a good way to do it, and get paid well. But I doubt, at least for now, that Cotto wants this fight again... even though he knows it's the biggest or nearly the biggest payday. Obviously the big fight for Canelo is GGG, so for now we have to deal with a step down from that. Who knows what fight Cotto ends up with at this stage.

Those are your words not mine. I may agree, if the GGG fight doesn't get made in '17, but some of the blame for that would be on GGG if he doesn't want to negotiate the right way. He isn't the A-side, Canelo is. We'll see how it goes.

Can't see the point. The first fight wasn't that good anyway and Cotto is almost 36 now and inactive.

if this rematch is even slightly realistic, then why would Canelo even consider Saunders or Golovkin?

Also, this rematch would need to happen NEXT. It will take place at 155/154..... Canelo will not fight Saunders/Golovkin and then move back down for Cotto.

And if this rematch is realistic, now you can clearly see why Canelo refused to be contractually obligated to Saunders.

And to think..... a certain fanbase called that " dumb "
