Who else can GGG fight for 10 million?

Nobody who would dare to fight him. Canelo is his biggest money fight by far but by the same token GGG is Canelo's biggest money fight. It doesn't mean a damn thing that GGG never made close to 10 million before because he wasn't fighting Canelo. No doubt about it, 10 million is a BS insult of an offer and GGG isn't ever going to accept such an offer. This reminds me of when Mayweather fans thought his offer to Pacquiao of 30 million was a fair offer that Pacquiao should have excepted based on the fact that Pacquiao had never made 30 million before. They conveniently forgot that if Mayweather fought Pacquiao he too would be making far more money than he ever made before. Pacquiao turned down the low ball 30 million and ended up making many times 30 million for fighting Mayweather. A fair offer to GGG from Oscar would be about a 65\35 split in Canelo's favor of all available money for the boxers. I'm not sure how much that would be but I know GGG's share would be a hell of a lot more than 10 million bucks. I think GGG would accept such an offer and it's fair to both boxers.Comment

This is exactly what it is... It's so freaky too the same people defending the may offer are the ones defending the canelo offer. The offer is ****ing bul****, just as I said with the pacquiao offer. I remember arguing for weeks about the may offer, and they would never budge. Kept repeating the same bs well PAC had never made 40 mill, like it was a good argument. Pacquiao ended up making 150m so obviously they didn't know what the hell they were talking about. I won't be wasting my time this time around tho. Difference being Golovkin isnt Pacquiao. He cant sell PPVs. I dunno why people keep on throwing out that comparison. Canelo's last ppv did about roughly 2x the only PPV Golovkin had. Golovkin really doesnt have much wiggle room here. And you guys dont make it any better. You severely overrate his drawing power.Comment

There is nobody. Nontheless it that ain't a reason not to shoot for more, or indeed to accept a poor deal if the fight's expected to generate a lot more.
Personally I think Golovkin should accept if GBP prove intractable, but it ain't my choice to make. Do you think Jacobs should accept 25% if that's the best on offer?Comment

Isn't there an argument then, that if Canelo's PPV did 2x GGGs then he's worth about twice as much - ie 66 / 33. I get that Canelos in the driving seat, but both benefit if the fight is made. One would hope that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts so both fighters need to be on board to make them both the most money.Difference being Golovkin isnt Pacquiao. He cant sell PPVs.
