This is so close fight. Im not watch Ruiz very much so I have no idea about his style. Did he punch hard or not?

Ruiz is a complete wildcard. Has some serious hand speed, which is surprising considering how much his body jiggles when he punches.

Hard to tell if his power is legit or not - he's fought nobody of note.

1 KO in his last 6 fights (4 UD's and a retirement). Struggled to do any real damage to a 40 year old Franklin Lawrence in his last fight. Has a record of feasting on bums - didn't fight anyone with double digit career wins until his 16th fight.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ruiz turned out to be a real go-er, as much as I wouldn't be surprised if he turns out to be a scrub.

I wouldn't be shocked if Ruiz collapses like a cheap house of cards. He has been stopping and starting his career because of personal problems and he has an obvious partying or eating disorder when it comes to caloric intake. It smells of a cash out by Bob Arum.

Ps either Ruiz or Parker will be ethnic firsts(Parker is half Irish but is marketed as full blooded Samoan) as heavyweight champions.
